Okay so I finally hooked up my sundown sax1200d just to test it and see if it works. my sub is wired at 4ohms and I wired everything to the amp but it takes over half gain to just make my sub move at all. Sundown Z v.2 sub and yes i know it only puts out 360 watts at 4ohms but it still should be enough to at least sound decent. My settings on amp were: Gain over half way, Subsonic 20, LPF 80, Bass boost 0, Phase 0, and I did not have the bass knob plugged in. Headunit settings are: LPF 80 and sub setting on 0, bass boost 0, sla 4, My regular EQ, and HPF 80. This sub would hit like no other with my kenwood 500wattrms amp at 4ohms. When i plug the sundown in, it takes over half gain just to move the sub at all.

you are also only running a 4 ohm load so it is not getting very much power ....wire it to 2 or 1 ohm and it should move just fine

Yeah i know this is true but I had it on a 250 watt rockford amp at one time and it moved just fine. Now it takes 1/2 gain or more just to even move the sub at all.

yeah, my headunit is pioneer 3200ub. and phase is at 0 on amp. Sub sounded fine with my kenwood 500wattrms and rockford 250wattrms. I just figured i would plug in the sax1200d just to make sure everything works fine before i change impedance to 1ohm. After I got everything in, just my door speakers would play bass until i got to half gain and then sub comes in. It is very very weak even at 1/2 gain.
