IKnowImLost224
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-EHin4IbpW15/p_120GMRC01/GM-Factory-Integration-Adapter.html do you have an amp a factory amp i dont understand why you need rca outputs if you have no amp? The GMOS came with the four RCA's for easy h/u installation. This way instead of attaching the speaker wires to the harness you plug them into the front and rear RCA outputs on the back of the radio. Well there are only the two preouts on the back of the radio for subs and front speakers which is why I cut the rear speaker RCAs and just tapped them into the harness
OrionStang
What wires did you tap the rca's into? Don't say speaker wires. That would mean you are running both high and low signals. Mot head unit manuals will tell you not to do this. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
IKnowImLost224
I cut the RCA and ran it to the negative and positive speaker wires in the harness
OrionStang
The harness of the deck? Don't think you should be using BOTH, the speaker wires and rca's. You shouldn't have cut the rca's off the GMOS. You should have used a y-splitter from the rca on the deck. n8ball2013
forget it take it somewhere to get it done. They gave you the wrong harness. and you butchered the harness trying ot make it work instead of getting the right one. I dont know of any harness for a head unit without a factory amp that plugs into your rca jacks. it just doesnt work that way. and Ive probably done about a dozen sunfires or cavaliers. Fuck I used to own one.
