AMI CUSTOMS
What do you do? Do you run an external fuse for big +4k size amps, or just wire direct to a batt bank? Looking for opinions from people with experience with running fuses and not running fuses. Thanks!!! getlocivic
i use circuit breakers.. those big anl type fuses tend to just melt all over the place rather than popping and killing power.. always better to be safe than sorry
Nathan @ XSpower
In a daily driver it is stupid not to fuse or do something!
C-Fizzy
Using a fuse is worth more to me than losing .001 db. And circuit breakers lose strength after popping each time. G-Rad
Circuit Breaker? That actually answers my question, but do you just get a breaker rated for whatever amperage needed? or are there special os for said application? AMI CUSTOMS
Would you still use fuses if your batt bank to amp is just a few inches? JPagan
If your power wire from batts to amp are only a few inches then I wouldn't fuse them.
