Want2BaGroundPounder
I am getting a 95 Ford Explorer 4dr and I want to do 4x 15" Fi Q's ported around 30-35Hz,1000w RMS per 15" Q. I am was wondering though, will I be able to fit 4x 15" Fi Q's ported in a 95 Explorer 4 door without having to fold down/remove the back seats?I basiclly want to do a box like Meades, subs firing up port back. This setup/ride has everything to do with my forum name....Want2BaGroundPounder.......looking for major bass with teh lows and still put up a damn good number.I'd do 4x Fi BTL 15"s w/all options but I could not afford all the upgrades I'd have to do to the explorers electrical like H.O. Alt and major battery bank all so I could run 16kw RMS to the substage. Anyhow what do you guys think...could I fit 4x 15" Q's in the back of teh 4door 95 explorer, subs up port back...looking to get 16ft^3 internal after port and driver displacements but can settle with 14ft^3 after port and driver displacements.... Would this be a good ground pounder/major street beater or would I be better of with 4x 15" SSD's?

I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

Want2BaGroundPounder
Yeah I really don't care if the box comes above the window line as I mostly use side view mirrors anyways and the damn rearviews always fall off or break LOL. Haven't got the Explorer 4dr yet but I am looking at getting either a 95-97model aslong as the price and miles and condition of said SUV are right. Found a good deal a month ago on autotrader for a 95 4 door explorer 4x4 with only 65k miles on it for $4500 but someone bought it so my search continues as mu wallet grows fatter and fatter...so far it looks like around feb. or march I'll be getting this explorer. Might pick up one or two 15" Q's in the near future to put in the backseat of my cutlass cierra and If I don't like I will sell them imediately for a good price. So while we are on this subject what do you guys think would be better? 1: 4 15" Fi SSD's and 2 XX Herc's 2: 4 15" Fi Q's and 2 XX Herc's Looking for insane ground pounding bass and I wish I could do BTL's but too expensive to power...hmmm setups above vs one 18" BTL with all options and 4000-5000w RMS who shall be the groundpounding winner? 2000LaDe
4 15's should always be louder than a single 18. "should" cuz the difference in cone area. 4 15s will push so much more air than a single 18.
