You need a port big enough to have to bend lol. Just use a program or port calculator if you're confused. Go with as much port as you can squeeze into your airspace up to 18-20 square inches/cubic foot...

If you used the same dimension but made port bigger your net volume will decrease. Im not home but what's your net for both sides after all displacements.

I hope you have enough power to feed those subs, box is very small if you go with the measures you just gave, i would do a port 33.5 x 5.25 x 22 , that would raise your internal around 1.5 cubic feet with a 33 hz tuning, that should sound better than the smaller box with bigger port, that´s a C pillar wall????
