Looking for new 15's more toward SQ then SPL

Recommended Posts

LoL at DC subs for SQ

300-400 isn't much, but you might be able to find some Diamond D6 15s, and they would work in that space, more would be better.

The sound reproduction of a sub is largely dependent on the enclosure its in.

2 Fi SSD15 will fit the space and your budget, are well known and respected SQ subwoofers.

Nate, this is true, just a tad out of reach. I say run 2 SA-15's in that box on your current amp it should be fine. You can get them for a really good price.

Two SA-15s would be nice, there's still tones of deals on CACO

Right, they are $24 overbudget each but worth every penny for a 1KW rated SQ Sub.

Will overtake the SAs in SQ.

Hey lilnate, I love my Dayton 15" HO's for SQ. I mean, they do get fairly loud, but beause of the shorter throw design, they are made more for SQ than SPL.

I'm sure these subs could be tuned higher, and made to be much louder...... But they sound so clean, and musical, when tuned to 29hz to 32hz.

Oh, and right on your price range too. About $375 for two of them.
