IMO they sound good as some other subs....and they were affordable in my budget range...at the time. New build coming soon. You even admit they were affordable on a little budget, don't be so defensive. Did you already start cutting? Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

The calculations I gave you are for the exact same port as in your drawings, 4 inches wide port is enough port area 3 is below recommendation, Va/Vb is suggested to better be in the 12-16 range, larger port area will give better output in fact you will find that it's still short according to some but at least reaches the recommendation. Take your time to have your facts clear before cutting of course, one other type of port that you could research if you are open to alternatives is a center port on the back with no turns.

Well I just want something to sound good..but look good at the same time. To the alternative suggestion. How would I construct that...like what would my measurements be...I'm not good with the ratio stuff. The current box I have constructed with the new port adjust is below. If you want to get me the measurement for the port lining the bottom center piece, I'll do it, that's if it'd improve my sounding quality. New build coming soon. That's how I reconstructed it. What he said about 3" port being too small is correct and I didn't realize it. New build coming soon. Small trunk, Towards the trunk opening, Port towards to back seats, I'd put the subs towards my back seats...but my amp is mounted on a wooden board screwed on my back frame. New build coming soon.
