varietyguy
So over the last few months I have put a lot of work and money into my car (92 mazda 323). Overall I am happy with the car but it still needs a lot of work still. Mainly I am getting tired of dealing with the normal problems from a 20 year lod car. It needs body work and painted. New glass for front and rear windshield. needs new motor mounts, springs, harmonic balancer, etc. etc. I would really like everyones opinion on if I should keep it or sell it. If I do sell it I am getting a midsize or full size SUV. I just spent all day outside working on it and it ust feels like each time I fix one thing 3 more problems pop up. Mario928
I think you are going to have a lot of money put on that car. I would sell that car and buy a newer car. Skullz
There are two ways of owning an older car and they are proactive and reactive, regardless of which approach you take your making car payments as if you owned something newer just you can decide at what time you want to make those payments vs a newer car with an actual car payment. whether you own new or old you can't avoid maintenance on them like brakes, tires, oil changes and the likes, but with something newer you get more features you didn't have with many older cars.
