If anything-The EXCURSION is just so damn huge it takes soooo much more to get the air pressurized in there w/ out an "up front" wall. Excursion....CRX....I'll leave it at that. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

andre_jeong Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 a f-150 with a wall....it consisted of 8 12" T2's...this shit was hella loud...it had 8 RF amps but i do not remember what kind.....when we played late night tip by three six mafia, the roof sounded really weird when the lows cam in...so we changed the song....it sounded like someone was holding a sheet of metal and wobeling it around....CRAZYYYYYYYYYYYYY

galacticmonkey Posted December 7, 2007 Author Report Posted December 7, 2007 Jethros is right there with Johns van.... Maybe a little louder. Tommys is a good deal louder than Jethros and Pipos.. Jethro and Pipo are both insanely loud, but Tommy can average over 160 for 30 seconds legal on TL.... I saw him do a 159.5 at a show in Tampa once. You know it has alot more in it. One time I asked him how high the volume was when he was demoing it. He just smiled.

bassboombottom Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 The loudest one I have heard is owned by an employee who works at Aspen Sound in Coeur d' Alene (pronounced Core-duh-lane) He had 2 Kicker CVR's in his hatchback VW, in a sealed box, and underpowered, the windshield moved about an inch, but the bass was amazing, but the hi's killed my ears.
