Car is on it's way to my Jeff's house now to have subs taken out to recone. It will then be put back together with how it was at world finals. I asked my girl to send pics to me so I can post up finished pics for you guys. The tibby will be at slamology for sure. Unfortunately I will not. Going to miss it by a couple weeks being over here across the pond. When I return, the box will be torn down to just the shell for the rebuild. Which will be (as of now) subs moved to the front of the box with sealed section being on the bottom in the very front with subs firing back and port being on top. Wont be the loudest setup of the plans I have designed but I'm very particular on how things look and wanna see where I can get it with a port on top. Should hopefully have pics up later of where it sits now so you can see that phase complete. Sorry for the lack of updates. I haven't forgot about you guys!! Stay tuned!!! Crandis16 Posted May 27, 2012 Report Posted May 27, 2012 back in my noob days (still a noob compared to half the people on this forum ) my buddy showed my his clean system in his tiburon of 2 12's in a vehicle specific prefab sub mount.... on top of that they were sony Xplods lol and I thought that it looked pretty BA. Not so much anymore haha. This is a tiburon (tuscani) with 2 18's in it!!! that's pretty bitchin' man, looks really really good and clean. Hate depending on people for stuff ie: my girl... :/ and it shows as I still don't have pics lol.. So I've decided to somewhat let the cat out of the bag on what's coming up. I'm not going to tell everything that is going to be going down due to finals coming up in October and don't wanna disclose everything going on yet.. (don't wry tho I'm the type of guy that can't keep shit under wraps for long so I'm almost positive you guys will get a build log out of this.. just not scores until after finals (; haha ) Ok so have been talking with Jeff and Mr. Singer about some stuff and decided I'm moving away from the 18's.. it was fun but not near loud enough for me and they limit me on the things that I am able to do with everything setup wise. For starters the electrical is getting big upgrades. I already have a Singer alt and plan on shoving another one in somewhere.. hopefully a 400a one to keep up with the power I'm gonna have here shortly. I have a spot in mind that I wanna try to put one without losing my a/c but if it comes down to it, it will need to happen (never thought I'd ever get to the point of being willing to lose my a/c lol). Secondly I will be moving from 2 motors to 6..o_O i'll let your minds wander on that one Lastly I will be moving away from being under 10k potential rms... to (by paper) 25K rms... granted that's before rise and all that other jazz of course. I still plan to stick with a 4th order design... working with Singer now trying to get a design together to where we both are happy and what we think will yield the best results... That pretty much covers it other than all the extra batts and mids and highs going in her as well as beefing up the rear suspension.
