carshateme Posted January 8, 2012 Report Share Posted January 8, 2012 Okay, I had 4 audiobahn in a sealed box a few days ago, I changed my set up and put 3 audiobahn in a ported box at 1 ohm, before the 4 audiobahn were at 3 ohms. The answer is probably obvious and I probably already know the answer...but ever since I put the ported box in, when my bass hits at like 4 dB and up, but lights will blink or dim down, even while driving. I have a suspicion I need to get another battery....I know it's not my alternator, for I had it tested 3 times, once on a shop machine. It's a 220 amp alternator. My electrical wiring consist of 0/1 gauge all around, my wiring is not lose, I already checked, I will look at my alt to see if I can add a 0gauge ground. I'm wondering if that's my problem... so if you guys/gals have any suggestions, I would like to hear them, Thank you for replying. Quote New build coming soon. Not sure what amp you have or how many watts it is, but you may need to get extra battery's and or a bigger alt.
