I have been doing stereos for about 15 years but been out of the game in the passed few years. Moeny was tight so I havent upgraded in a very long time. Anyhow, not time for some sob story about the passed. I am looking at 2 different set ups but cant make up my mind for sure. I ride a 2006 magnum and want some big and clean bass. What would you do and could you please elaborate. Would you go with 2 15" HDC 4 or would you go with 1 SMD 18? Please dont be bias since we are on SMD forum. I am actually looking for a honest opinion. Thank you all for your input.

What amp are you planning to use ? enough electrical ? I don't do burps or goo to spl comps, so, I'd do the smd 18. 2 15"s will have more cone area though. We need to know what you want this setup for. There are tons of subs in the market. Why just those 2 ? black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a sealed box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.
