Scratchy sound coming from sub

Most likely blown. Does it make a scratching sound when you push on the sub?

you must of not done your break in right LMAO i kid! about the break in but ya you abused your sub mostly caused by playing out of tunning to long

but it only does it sometimes, and when I push on it it's fine..

it does that, and also when at low volumes it'll excursion up and down without it being up enough to make it even move/

well its what is happing intermittin or not the only way i have been able to stop your problem is to have the sub fire up so gravity is not pulling down on one side of the coil instead firing up its pulling (gravity) straight down on the coil

Have you ever had your woofers blown?
