that kenwood was running then at the equivalent of .75 ohms and your new amp at 1ohm, the power difference is not THAT great and you are dividing the power 3 ways now.

Well I ain't complaining it's loud as hell...it just I made it the way I did to show off after staining it...was hoping it'd move like it did w the kenwood amplifier.

Yeah. Way louder. Like I said above, I was hoping to get them to flex like they did in the sealed boxes, but since it's ported, I may not be able to get that.

Oh well damn. this whole time I thought something was wrong. speakers move differently in sealed and ported boxes. and speaker movement is not necessarily related to sound output either.

Well I'm going to try upgrading my RCA wire. The wire being used is some crappy one.. I don't even remember what it is.

They are a dual 6 ohms. I have all 3 parallel wired at 1 ohm to the amplifier. The gain is set at 0. HU is at -4 bass dB, +10dB sub

The sub sonic filter is set at 35hz, rca is good, ground is good.

Also, what is your box tuned to? Might wanna lower that subsonic, but more importantly set your gain properly.

Box is tuned to 38 hz. Um, I don't have a dd-1 or an o-scope and I sure ain't paying the local audio dealership $60 to tune my amplifier, had bad luck tuning it myself without neither of those tools...so I kept it at 0.

Well, until you get it tuned you're basically limiting your subs. I wouldn't recommend doing it without proper tools... Maybe there's someone in your area with a dd-1 that's willing to do it for $20 or so.

Least I ain't damaging them at the moment. =)

If I remember right you used a port in the back of the box and that can be a bigger part of the problem, also high sensitivity subs will not hit the lows as good unless in very big boxes, the 38 Hz tuning is recommended for those subs to get loud but usually also that lessens flex. So I think is kind of to be expected that it performs like that.
