carshateme Posted January 14, 2012 Report Posted January 14, 2012 Okay I had a Kenwood Kac-7205 1000watt amplifer that only output 500rms. It flex the heck out of my subwoofers. I replaced the amplifier w a hifonics HIF2000D 2000rms (1200RMS), though it hits hard in my cabin...it doesn't flex much. Why is this? New build coming soon. carshateme Posted January 14, 2012 Author Report Posted January 14, 2012 Audiobahn ALUM10N, the power wire was some crappy raptor 8 gauge on the kenwood, upgraded to a 0/1 CCA knukonceptz when I bought the hif amp, Box was a sealed 1 ft^3 single (2 subs in single boxes), now it's in a ported box.
