Smoove Posted January 17, 2012 Report Posted January 17, 2012 I watch some of these vids with people rattling everything on their rides. What I noticed is most people have door handles. Has anyone ever had a problem with latch actuators that come with shaved door handle kits? The actuators have held up to my wife slammin' my doors. But will they handle a constant 140+ db ????? I shaved my doors years ago and cant even find the style actuator I used anymore. Yes it sounds like I might have to get the newer style. Never had a problem with mine when i had it installed in this i had a wall with 4 12s hitting 142 never had a problem till i let my friend drive cause i was too drunk TOTAL after all that body work what part of phoenix u in

I hope he is doing all the work on your new ride while you supervise. Good to know you never had a problem. It was something I started thing about after I saw the video of the suburban flexing the front grill. I am in Tempe, not to far from ASU. ric006 - looks like you have an old C10 also.
