crazy4bass Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 hey every one, im new to this forum and im not very familiar with all this posting stuff, i hope some one sees this and could help me. i recently got a rockford fosgate t40001db from a pawn shop for $400 bucks. i have a digital design (ddaudio) 2512 and i will like to use this amp to power it, i know it sound stupid but i wanna be able to show off the amp. now the question i have is what is the simplest way of powering this amp?? im not looking to be the loudest i just want the amp to power the sub and make a really nice box for it. do i need extra batterys? some PLEASE HELP ME with some info.

C-Fizzy Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 Ummm 4 huge batteries. Huge alternator. 0 gauge wiring. That amp is very current hungry. But that sub won't take the amp for long. You'll have to set it lower so you don't blow the sub. under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy?
TeamHT Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 You should plan for the amount of current you are running. What is the voicecoil configuration of the sub? You don't need to run the amp at 1 ohm, you may be able to run it at lower power levels, but either way will need some electrical upgrades or POOF Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
