Ok so Long story short I've been a tried and true aero-port guy for Ages. But now Im working on my first slot port configuration. My box is 6.3 cu.ft. and will house 1 fi ssd 18. Im looking for a tuning of 33hz. Basically I have no clue where to start. Is there some sort of program I can use to make the calculations for me? Sorry, like I said im used to aero ports and only calculating length, Im a :noob: to slot ports.

From watch many videos online, I came come to see, that boxes with big ass ports, always shake the hell out of the the car they are in. I will be getting 2 SA-12's and having a slot port box with a 4.25" port, will have about 17-18" per for port area.

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

Check out a website called the 12 volt. They have calculators for tube and slot ports as well as heaps of other info.

plz dont take this advice.. those programs are way off ACTUAL specs

Sorry, I wasn't aware these calculators weren't accurate. I've just downloaded Torres box calculator myself.

WHAT'S THAT?

IT'S TOO LOUD?

HERE, LET ME TURN IT UP!

12volt.com is not way off anything. i'm not a fan of their port calculator but it's accurate.

Torres is much easier to use, but both work correctly.
