fox_racin4
That is very dissapointing. The obsidian 18 will sell very very well. Sure wish Sundown would follow suit. Price point near 250 shipped for an 18 and I am not talking FI ssd garbage either... My JL 6.5s had a bigger motor than those ssds had... with better cooling EL OH EL you sure you didnt have a ib3? And its been said before, lack of motor strength from a 2.5" coil on a 18" cone isnt practical. Plus the sa line is probably the most popular line sundown has for dealer sales (guess). And most people who go to dealers arent looking for 18s. I have had a huge "crush" on sundown since fox_racin4 has been getting his stuff shipped to me lol. Cant wait for the new lines and new things happening this year Lol sorry about that... The bew build i have done is all sundown, irst time ever using sundown And very glad i did.. Sounds wayyy better then anything else i have ran And CS is amazing! A++!! BobbyG2
Not trying to rush you or anything. In case you were unsure on the demand, if you were to carry a component set, I for sure would purchase some. I would much rather wait for you to get the product up to your usual high quality standards than have you rush the design though! With that said, I know you don't want to release an SA18, but that would be something I'd be interested in as well. My next purchase is going to be a Sundown 4 Channel! But in any case, keep up the good work! Edited March 11, 2012 by BobbyG2 Quote *New vehicle and system coming soon.*
sundownz
NS v.3 spider packs are in... the spiders are like the Z v.3 units but with an extra layer -- and the 15/18 models have triple leads. These will be standard issue on NS v.3 and optional on other models. They are yellow to immediatly identify them as the NS stiffness pack (5 layers) as opposed to Z v.3 (4 layers). I may even bring in a 6 or 7 layer pack for dedicated SPL purposes. Currently we use NS v.1 / v.2 spiders for SPL purposes stacked to the appropriate level. sundownz
will those NS V.3 spiders be able to be used on the Z v.2? Yes. If you have 15s you need a certain model 12-spoke with the bigger landing -- but the 10/12 spider and 18 spider work on any frame.
