I don't really want to drop hndreds on a charger because this is the only agm battery my fam. owns, what are some good chargers to use for when i first get it and just for normal charging. Will be in a daily driver so just need one for over night or if the car is sitting while i go outta town. Looking to spend no more than $200 if possible. Thanks. Sorry i know its been asked alot. I am an equipment matching whore because I know if the charger fails and its an XS on an XS I have a reason to be pissed if its chico n 'em's batt max charger and my battery fails on me I can't say ish. With stuff like that I like the piece of mind of knowing it's built to do what it says and it has been tested with the product I am using it for. We have a big ass die hard at the shop and I will put optima's, kinetiks and ACM batts on there but I wouldn't touch my XS (when I get em) with it. Plus the XS is compact as hell and how much do you really save in buying a cheaper one? Lbox88 Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 The only complaint on the CTEK 7002 I've seen is one person had trouble contacting support the Monday after Christmas. It is supposedly the charger of choice for Porsche, Mercedes Benz, and a couple others, and is one charger/maintainer I'm looking at as well.
