Autruche Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Amp's gain doesn't have to be touched to be clipping your subs. You could have had the head unit settings all out of wack or had the head unit turned up too far, driving it into sending out clipped signals. Could also have been a terribly clipped song.
