HatersGonnaHate Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Judging by the amp wires... I think it's undersized wiring all around. Or mis-wired at the subs. Tuned in for the install pics though. Mario928 Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 This is how it was set when they started smoking. I see two 25 amp fuses what is the orange fuse. Is it the same? Build Under Construction Head Unit = Kenwood DDX514 Amps = Kicker 750.1, Going to install Sundown 1500D v3 and Sundown 125.4 Battery = XS D3400 Wires = Kicker RCA's, 0 Gauge street wire and Stinger Mids and Highs = Stock Sub= Kicker L7 12" Alternator = 220 Mechman Sound Deadner= Fatmat and Stinger Road Kill
poorfish88 Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 That's some bad wiring 4sure. What's bad about it? Rushed crimped wires, which lead to exposed frayed ends. Wrong size fuse in amp which leads me to believe the amp has had problems in the past. The speaker wire is too small, I believe it's 18 or 16 gauge. I'm not baggin on you, I'm trying to help sorry if it didn't sound like it.
KillaCam Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 This is how it was set when they started smoking. I see two 25 amp fuses what is the orange fuse. Is it the same? Nope, the orange is a 40a. And the fact more than one person agrees does not make it a circle jerk, it makes it a bukkake scene and you're in the middle Chick took 3 shots of Jager, and then, pissed in my mouth.. No not at all I'm glad people are helping so for I know I need to redo the wires and get bigger amp to sub wires? 12 or bigger? Here are a few more pictures. Battery connection and fuse.
C-Fizzy Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 DEFINITELY redo that ground. under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy?
KillaCam Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 x2 on the ground it needs bare metal contact with the frame, no paint. And the fact more than one person agrees does not make it a circle jerk, it makes it a bukkake scene and you're in the middle Chick took 3 shots of Jager, and then, pissed in my mouth.. Maxim Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 There's an issue. The ground should be put on bare metal, not painted metal. Scrape the paint off or try to find a different spot to ground it where there's just bare metal. Other than that, the wires are a little small but they shouldn't be that big of an issue. The 40A fuse where a 25A should be could cause an issue though. wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt
ThisGuy Posted January 26, 2012 Author Report Posted January 26, 2012 DEFINITELY redo that ground. What do I need to do? Find a new spot? Nevermind already answered.. thanks for all this help guys. I'm a boob.
