Yes sir if I just run the 2 subs I will be running the 8k at .35 which is about where I want to be. I'm eventually puttin at least 2 more in and I'll be at .7 so either way I'm happy. 1 more month and it should be here

O and more pics from deadening today! It's not too bad doing a door a day because it gets repetitive very quickly lol.

Did a sound comparison by banging the outside of the door panel with a deadened and a non deadened door and it sounds much less rattley

Do you put the plastic liner back on or just leave it off?

Left it off as I'm going to put luxury liner on all the doors. Also might throw in some overkill over that. Haven't decided on the combo yet but these will make the most audible difference to the doors.

Curious how you do the wiring to the door speakers... i have an 07 escape and it has the connection type from door wire harness to body wire harness not the rubber boot you could run wires through.

Anyone know roughly what size rims you can fit on an Escape without rubbing? Maybe with some decent rubber? I was thinking between 18"-20," anybody else know from experience?

That's a beefy looking amp bro and them doors will definitely sound so much better now that they are deadend. My friend had an escape on 19's with no rub but it had a good size gap on the wheelwells. Hopefully someone else will chime in with other info. I think 20's would be fine but keep us posted.

18" fit fine you get 20" you need low pro tires thats if you dont want to any other modifying

edit: as fiero said 19" fit also... not to mention 20" could end up being to wide

Today's progress!

Pretty nice day, woke up nice and early to finish my last door. Of course I ran out of deadener halfway on the inner skin! Time to order some SS to finish it off.

In the meantime, what's next you ask? Recone time!

I'm going to let them chill for a day and then add the dustcap tomorrow. Recones are nerve racking! Lol

Got my Crossfire 8k yesterday!

Which pushed me to add 2 extra runs of pos and neg, and run my new Knu 4 channel and 2 channel RCA's.
