TRTC360
Well it was on sale at my local home depot for 28 dollars vs 45 dollars this 7 ply birch i was looking at which didnt look or feel too different so i went with the cheaper one, its 7 ply plywood. Noticably lighter than mdf and felt just as strong. fox_racin4
Ive used it and hated it That sheet may look straight but once cut into smaller sections it will be warped Its basically plywood Quote 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole
HatersGonnaHate
I think that's the same as regular plywood, just with a sanded finish. Don't think the strength characteristics are going to change though. TRTC360
Well my dad hates mdf because of how easily it splits and the mess that it makes when being cut, and we wanted to get something a bit lighter than mdf, would there be a noticable difference in strength and sound between mdf, 7 ply birch, and this 7 ply plywood? 412 CVX
Naw, actually audiofanaticz had the stuff and used it in a box build. he said there were holes and inconsistencies in the wood, which is NOT very structurally sound. in the future, stick to MDF, or real birch.
