I decided to grab a sheet of MDF from Ace and work on the box for the Camaro build. In the process I decided to take some Infinity Comps and a Kicker 8" mid bass and I built a nice little home audio system. I will be putting this in my garage to use while I work outside. Right now I use my car or an old stereo I have. Now I can plug this into to a nice little receiver hook up my iPod and let it play while I work. Let me know what you all think just a little something to do when I had nothing better to do. I can't bear to work without music in the garage my problem was the little stereo didn't really get loud and when I work on the Civic I usually disconnect the battery so most times I had to grab some headphones and that always caused issues so this + an old receiver I had made for one nice sounding system. I can hear it over all of my tools running and the bass sounds nice. I don't really like carpet so I found this stuff at a Car Upholstery store near me and it looks really good plus it's reasonably priced not as cheap as carpet but much nicer IMHO. I mean it is no Steve Meade shop system and won't compare to the one we are building at my shop but it gets the job done nice bass and sounds clean and it satisfies me for what I need it to do. Plus since its not earth shattering loud my neighbors don't talk shit anymore about the volume level.
