Not trying to piss anyone off here. And I did start another thread entitled "some questions about my system". But I am still at a loss of what I should do to get my amperage higher for the amplifiers. Any suggestions at all? I mean this forum is here to help people and answer questions. I am seriously at a loss. Please help.

Nice suv.

Hmm..

You said you have two runs of 1/0 guage? Are they both going from front battery to rear battery?

If so, maybe remove 1 run from the front battery, and connect it directly to your alt? Have a positive run from your battery and alt going to your rear battery.

Since you have an iraggi 240 amp alt, why dont you try getting some custom brackets made and run both your stock alt along with your iraggi. Im sure the stock alt is at least 120 amps. Its a suv, you should have tons of room under the hood. Or order a 300 amp iraggi to use with your current 240, and get some custom brackets made.

Im assuming the kinetik HC1800 is under the hood, and the HC2400 is in the rear, maybe getting another hc2400 in the rear would help, Id say at least 1 per amp, if not 2 per amp, your going to need batteries galore!

Would it be bad to have a 300 amp alt from iraggi? Shouldn't I just buy another 240 and then have a custom bracket made? I will look into that. And about 4 more hc2400's? Ok. I will post what happens from Iraggi.

you can add a 300amp, it wouldnt hurt nothing. Why get another 240 and lose out on an extra 60 amps, If you had the money get two 300 amps, and still have a min of two hc2400s... But even if you had a bracket made for the time being your stock alt will help you out a lot if you do decide to run two alts.

Either way you look at it, your amps are going to draw at least 300 amps each, thats not including normal vehicle draw (heat, ac, lights etc).

Dude nice ass truck and NICE upgrades.

kudos on:

The paint/shave/exterior work-I likes.

The audio-Them subs are slumpers for sure, look a little PACKED in that lil box but if Ray says it's Kosher, I must just be not be familiar enough w/ them xxx's.

The rims I actually like, but Bigger on an SUV is always better IMO.

As far as the electrical needs, MORE is ALWAYS better than less in terms of current flow/help so I would go w/ a iraggi 300+your 240, as many Kinetics as you can fit/afford in the back, as many runs of 0/1 ga power from fron to back as you can fit/afford, and as was mentioned^^ have at least one 0/1ga from alt to rear battery bank. Should help ur voltage issues.

should have stayed with MTX!

Why in the world would you pick MTX (even 9512's) over two XXX's?

A couple links to some box builds:

Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI,

Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150

My own car builds (current setup --- under construction):

Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors

Subwoofer Wall

Thank you sir for the input. I am printing this out and saving it. I am going to go right to work on buying everything and when I get home I will install.

As for ole boy posting about the MTX's....YOU HAVE LOST YOUR DAMN MIND. These subs kick ass and I would never go back to MTX after owning these things.

Thanks everyone. We can finally never speak on this thread again. ha ha ha.
