rocking.that.eclipse Posted February 7, 2012 Report Share Posted February 7, 2012 You can check it on an amp you know is working, hook up to a 9 volt battery, try pushing down on the cone and listen for a rubbing noice... depends on what could be wrong. the1uwannab Posted February 15, 2012 Report Share Posted February 15, 2012 You can meter the coils and see if they are reading at what ohms they are supposed to bee at or you can put a battery like he said above which will move the sub if it works also if you can get a hold of a tone generator to do the same.
