hole in trunk (spare tire well blew out) will it affect the sound?

Recommended Posts

I have a 15" btl in a pretty big box of my 06 cts and a couple days ago my system seemed like it wasn't as loud. I looked under my car in the back where the spare tire well in the trunk comes down and saw that the whole bottom of the well was basically blown a part. I am pretty sure it will but I was wondering should this make it sound a lot less loud?

Yeah you should try and seal it up. You are also probably getting some extra road noise in there too.
