rogue
Dude I want to TRY to tackle my Benz with the wrap job u did. But I want some samples first. I went to site and checked the form and everything, but it asks for a company. What did u do? Think I made something up. I tried to order more samples using my neighbors name and address not too long ago and they start calling me to confirm but I never answer the phone knowing that I made the company up. Anyways they never sent the second batch. Maybe they've gotten more strict with it I'm not sure. One difference between the first try and the second was that I only asked for one sample pack, the second a asked for 5. Can't hurt to try. Otherwise u will just have to risk it on color choices. What color are you wanting to achieve? What color are you wanting to achieve? Well actually I wanted to see how the color U have looked on my interior. I'm open to suggestions. Cuz I'm not sure what would really match my interior. Cuz it mostly a tan beige color and a black dash, with just bout the same color wood trim. rogue
Yeah, It basically looks like this as of now. I have all the sliding mechanism working but havent put the motor and switches in. I got some more recent pix but im too lazy to upload ATM. And then....It looks done but it is not. Still working on the brackets and motorization stuff but at least it looks nice now. REFF'SMy linkEBAYhttp://feedback.ebay...ck&myworld=trueI love car audio so much because I will never be done. I can never win, and I will never get it finished or perfect. rogue
This build is so clean its insane. Your patience and work is great! super attention to detail! Thanks guys!! I really got to get myself motivated and get the motorization finished. I did come across a subwoofer from a local guy. Made me a good deal on it and picked up a JL 12 W7. Im still unsure what I want to do for certain but i do have some bass for now so I built a Temporary Box to satisfy my bass needs for the moment. I replicated a factory JL HO wedge box for the W7 12. It was much more work than I'd like to admit. I will post up some pix soon. rogue
The Build Up of my temporary box. Basically a Replicated JL HO Wedge for a 12 W7. This ring was machined this way to accomodate the T-nuts. It sandwiches them into the baffle so the cant get pushed out into the box when adding screws. And just a Tad extra beefiness for the sub to mount to. IMG_2022 by rogueauto, on Flickr IMG_2023 by rogueauto, on Flickr These were some fun braces to make. Spent way too much time on these.
