Can you swap there locations? Just seems like they should be swapped. Little OCD thing going on right now for me lol. Can't wait to see this up and playing. Wondering if anyone would notice that, there is a reason for everything, with the just those two wires laying like that it is keeping it up high away from the voice coil studs once zip tied tight. It has to be that way lol. But having looked at that picture a couple of times, I couldn't take it anymore lol. It should make a little bit of noise when it is all said and done. AMI CUSTOMS Posted October 11, 2012 Author Report Posted October 11, 2012 Update 10/10/12 Started on the driver side today, only got the grounds mounted to the frame, but every little bit helps get it done faster lol. Drilled a hole thru the frame, sanded down to bare metal, then brass bolt with 8 1/0s stacked on, clears the e-brake cable by about a mm. Going to finish wiring the amps up tomorrow. AMI CUSTOMS Posted October 11, 2012 Author Report Posted October 11, 2012 Been meaning to post this too about the suspension, I couldn't be happier with the 3500 hd add a leaf and custom springworks coils, truck looks so good after I lowered the rear 1 inch on the shackles. In previous pics it looks level, WELL that is because in that pic it had 200 lbs of scrap mdf in the bed from the whole build LOL. After uploading that, here is how it sits It was too high in the back, I had one more bolt hole in the rear shackle so I lowered it to that and got the front end aligned. Here is how it looks right now.... Perfect .5 inch of difference front to rear, higher in rear. Exactly how I want it to be. Truck rides down the road great, just doesn't stop worth a shit, but new brakes coming..... My estimate is 2400 lbs total over stock, that includes everything. Wiring is (14) 50 ft 1/0 spools and 250 ft in 8 gauge, each one of those spools 15 total weight 22 lbs, so that is 330 lbs in just wire.
