Slapuhho Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 That video is of my truck, They're hdc3's, not 4's. Box is tuned roughly 32-35hz, but will play down to like 20 if I really want too. I did a 155+ outlaw on 1500w. It now does 59+ on 2 3500's. Did I miss anything? 4 18's, low power and lots of gay fur. Team gg Team DOA My Videos

At some point going to 6 3500s could be a possibility, we will see but that will be later on down the road after a bunch of other stuff needs to be done beforehand. It is also just a possibility, I might be just running stock HDC4s off the shelf first to get a feel for the woofers before I put my touches on them. I may not need to give them any help, they may be fine straight off the shelf. So waiting to hear back from SQ/AQ on a few things and then we will see. But stay tuned for updates as they roll in, more soon!!! More motor force will help alot with my application, plus I know some people that did some independent tests of the HDC4 against other subs and it was louder on same vehicle/power/box for direct swap against an HDC3. So anything is possible but more motor force and bigger coil, more area to spread out the heat, with 18k power, it should be a step in the right direction. Plus I will be confident in wiring lower with the 4s vs the 3s, as I didn't feel the 3s would survive very long wired down low.
