if all you are going to use it for is some patch panels you will be fine. I had mine for years, just gave it away to a homie who fixed a guys muffler, did some body work and such...

I have the millermatic 220/110 mig welder and love it but the harbor frieght one should be fine if you are just going to use it for little fixes here and there. And 100 bucks is supercheap so why not. I have never tried to weld steel without gas though, it may be the ugliest non penetrating welds ever, but who knows lol.

Do what i did scout around on craigslist and you will find one got me a hobart with tank and cart and extra tips and all for 350.

i was going to get one of the gasless ones but from what i seen and when parts go bad cant find ones to replace with them id stick to a more main stream brand.
