Crunch Amps

Hey guys! What are your experiences and opinions about crunch amplifiers? Mainly the one in the link. I'm asking because I have a 300 dollar budget for amplifier/s and I want +/- 1500 rms at 2 ohms. I was thinking about using a, pair of these on my mx 18. Gain matched and what not. lets hear it !

the crunch's arent bad but they do max out kinda quick. i had 4 of the older model 1's like those. they did me good but just didnt have enough balls.

how about this 1 if u dont mind running a refurb amp. for the price u cant go wrong

I had a 1500.1 crunch amp in my old setup pushin two 12" CVRs..I had it for about two years and it only went in protect mode one time a couple summers ago when it was really hot and it still was fully functional to the day I sold it..HOWEVER it was a power hog and didn't put out clean power they really are very entry level amps although I have heard decent reviews of the GPV series

agree with this guy 100% these amps are best bang for buck on the market unless u can find cheap one on craigstlist.

I recently bought a Crunch P1-2000.1 and the inputs burned out after 5 minutes of playing. Got a replacement on the way and I need advice on break in method.. Wanna treat the new one right bc while the first one was playing it pushed my 2-15s to the point that I was knocking pictures off the wall throughout my whole house..

there is no break-in for amps, there is just proper gain settings and knowing your voltage drop

only crunch i'd own is a gp3000, best made crunch to date hands down, o and I'm using one currently

Friend of mine bought one of these amps.. Tuned with my dd1 it barley pushes his type r 12s
