BassJunkie Posted December 8, 2007 Report Posted December 8, 2007 i hate mopar, but thats just me. btw, if you get a car where the engine was only made one year, and something goes wrong with it, have fun with that bill. I was thinking that, but its a 5.9, thats a dodge 360 motor, I'm sure it couldn't be that bad Quote 1986 C20 Suburban 9 American Bass XFL 15's B2 M1MKII 14v XS Power Batteries Maxwell Caps Acoustical energy is free. ChevyBoy Posted December 8, 2007 Report Posted December 8, 2007 but to fit certain parts on an suv compared to a truck is slightly different. thats what causes a problem with pricing. Quote

Amalan Posted December 8, 2007 Author Report Posted December 8, 2007 I was thinking that, but its a 5.9, thats a dodge 360 motor, I'm sure it couldn't be that bad yeah it really isnt that bad its just the tranny and drivetrain that would worry me if something went wrong. yea thats all they sell for around here again not a 5.9L there is a difference. my 5.2L is probably worth like 600 bucks tops you will not find a 5.9L in good condition for 2-3k Quote
Torres Posted December 8, 2007 Report Posted December 8, 2007 if you feel confident with it, then i say go for it. you may pass up a real gem. Quote
aquill1 Posted December 8, 2007 Report Posted December 8, 2007 I guess I'm just curious why you asked our opinion and wanted your opinion on other cars yet you were already sold on that car, that year, that model and that engine? What was the sense in asking us? You asked us for our opinion and we gave it yet you've shot every single one down and argued when you really didn't want to know what we thought anyways??? Still friends though right? ; ) Quote

aquill1 Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 Hey amalon did you ever end up getting that one you were looking at? Sounds like you were a mopar fan but I've been looking into getting a 2002 or perhaps later mercury mountaineer...found them fully loaded with 2 tone leather heated seats 6-disk cd with 7 speakers and all for under 10k with less than 100k miles...there's a different suv that isn't a mopar! But I'll be getting one of those once I get rid of my escape or my jag... Quote
