I have personally never heard one but have heard lots of good things about the sub being a spl sub, but he told me it is a good sq sub. It's one 15" dual 2 ohm. I am looking more for a sq sub but if it's a hard hitting sq sub that's the combo I'm looking for. I also have two 12W7's I was thinking about building a box for but haven't gotten to it yet. My opinion: Get the RE XXX and an amp to power it with a solid 2000+ RMS. I'm a huge RE fan though....little biased. Waitin for a final answer though. Yes I have heard it all before. The amp sucks and I know that which is why I said for now. I plan on getting a new one hopefully soon.
