jmike9606
I got 2 15's in 1 box but separate chambers it has about 3 cubes per side. Would it sound better with both subs in a common chamber? The subs are Alpine type r's with a RF t1500 running them. TFTH.
412 CVX
IMO separate chambers just eat up airspace. you probably won't hear a difference between a common and separate chambers. what are the outer dims of the box you have now? Quote Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid. Joe X
It dosent seem to hit the low notes very good and i was wondering if going to common chambers would help any? Your box should be tuned to 30 Hz and a net internal volume of 2.25 cuibic feet (per chamber), do you know how it's tuned?? Also if your amp has a subsonic filter it must be set below 28Hz, you should check polartity of all of your connections, just to name a few. stevog
common is easier to build and imo sounds a bit more louder leave separate chambers for prefabs
