Joshua Yambalia
I recently acquired a JL dual high output box that came with 2 10w3v1's. I was just wondering if it were safe to change out the woofers to possibly w6's or w7's or would the box just blow apart? I would just like some input to weather or not anyone has done this before. 412 CVX
JL is overpriced, i wouldn't buy new JL subs. what's your budget for new subs? Quote Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid. Joshua Yambalia
Well i dont have a budget for new subs. I was more so just wondering if any other 10" more powerful subs would work well with the box. Hell I can get a hold of 2 diamonds and put them in there if the box would be able to contain them without falling apart lol.

meade916
JL is overpriced, i wouldn't buy new JL subs. what's your budget for new subs? the guy is asking if it will work, not if the speakers he chooses to buy are in YOUR budget. i personally think you will be fine. Joshua Yambalia
I think i can get my hands on 1 10" d3 it would be hard to find another xD. I might just put 2 10w6's in there and call it a day, i've just been contemplating this idea because i dont really know the specs to the box and just wanted to see if there was any more info i can get out of it from the forums here.
