Wiring In-dash Properly?

alpine just run a switch connect the hand brake and foot brake of the headunit to the switch than off the switch to both the foot/hand brake wires and how mine works is when u turn the radio on u hold down the brake pedal and push the switch up than down than release the brake and bang ur done u dont need to buy an by-pass kit

On the w205 I would rather not have to stop, pump brake , hand brake 3 times, just to change my treble/bass ,time, etc. The kits only like 17 bucks, just going to scoop it up.

You don't need that box to trick the radio. The brake switch is a ground, not a 12V+. All you have to do is ground the brake wire from the radio.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

yea u only gotta do it when u start the car and u can also run a switch another way where u dont have to do that i did it the other way cause if u get pulled over u can turn the tv part off well whateva good like wit it

yea u only gotta do it when u start the car and u can also run a switch another way where u dont have to do that i did it the other way cause if u get pulled over u can turn the tv part off well whateva good like wit it

To go through all that every time you drive is too much a pain in the ass for me.

I have Video Flips in 4 cars and have never been pulled over or questioned about what i got going on with the screen.

Wes, just get the adapter and call it a day..... It seems like it was made for you, not trying to be an ass but some people are not as savy as others when it comes to bypassing.
