Mha Posted March 1, 2012 Report Share Posted March 1, 2012 I have an avalanche with the midgate removed and the sub box is sealed off. I have my power wires run under the truck. And they go into the bed throw a hole in the bed floor ground. I realy dont have any other option but to put the dc5k on the box or on the floor. I know some do it with no issues and others have had issues. Is ther anything I can do since its my only option. Like put fatmat I have laying around on the box or on back of the amp or add an other baffle to the side im going to mount it? Any ideas. Ps my 4 channel is under the seats all ready. I also uses 3 washers under the mounting feet to prop it up, there is an exhaust vent on the bottom of the amp. So if your has no flex it should be fine.
