Amp mount on sub box, no other options?

I have an avalanche with the midgate removed and the sub box is sealed off. I have my power wires run under the truck. And they go into the bed throw a hole in the bed floor ground. I realy dont have any other option but to put the dc5k on the box or on the floor. I know some do it with no issues and others have had issues. Is ther anything I can do since its my only option. Like put fatmat I have laying around on the box or on back of the amp or add an other baffle to the side im going to mount it? Any ideas. Ps my 4 channel is under the seats all ready.

I'm about to start my build and was going to use some until I found a better spot for the amp

I have my 5k on my box with no problems, but my box is 1.5" thick. I also uses 3 washers under the mounting feet to prop it up, there is an exhaust vent on the bottom of the amp. So if your has no flex it should be fine. I wouldn't use fat mat, I would find some kind of foam padding instead so there is some give.

I've used rubber gromitts under the feet of amp and screwed it to the box.
