Since my clutch pedal assembly is broke i have to basically tear everything out to get to it. Not fun at all. Got this far today. Going to try to work again tomorrow and get it pulled out. then take it to work and try to fix it.

If you look at the part between the coil spring and the bolt sticking out there, that is the part that is broke. It is the guide for the clutch cable and is suppose to hole it in place when you push the clutch pedal. It broke so basically i have a a non working clutch. So if i can get this assembly pulled out i may be able to fix it. Then i have to put it all back together....

If i replaced it i would end up spending more than 400, have to get rid of those old ugly gauges with new white face ones, plus all the fleece, resin, chop mat, mdf... lol

I have a lot of stuff planned. Since i am replacing the ALT i am going to change the timing belt and water pump too. 200k miles on the engine and i don't know when the last time it was done. There are a few odds and ends left too. Got to repair my clutch pedal assembly. I have a guy at work that can weld it for me so we will see how that goes. Here is a pic of that happend to it.

the thing broke in two places. So hopefully we can get it bent back straight and welded up good. Not very heavy metal so might have to add an extra brace so i don't have this problem again. Otherwise I have to spend $100 on a used one that might not be much better than mine.

Leaving a comment so I can keep up to date on the crazy fabrication. I would like to do a custom one-off dash too. I'm a big chicken though lol.
