LSD_Audio
Sadly i lost a lot of m pictures with my old computer. but heres what i got. Know that i did all this while my only form of income was cutting lawns and doing other chores for people in my neighborhood. my budget was very tight and it took a long time to get to where it is now. Robot Underground 18" (First Backseat install) MTX81000D on the 18 Fosgate P3's (First wall) MTX81000D Costom Built LSD's on the same wall the P3's used Time For a new wall Frame for support. (More bracing was added after this pic but i lost the picture with all of it done) And the whole setup to be thrown in the car (at the time) SSL EV5000D Pics of the build are missing but here was the end result. 9.5 CuFt at 29hz and covered then i decided i needed a bigger port (Notice my outer dust caps had already blown off. I wanted more power so i got a 2nd SSL EV5000D Blew one of the LSD's. Time to upgrade! Soundstream XXX time baby! (LSD 15 on left) These ones were reconed by my friend Patrick at Robot Underground (He don't post much on the site. Call him and he'll help you out!) i'd say its an improvement Gotta have the port looking good now its time for an amp rack and covered Mids need some pods to get louder And heres the current product and remember (before making rude comment about me being cheap about anything) i did this while make less than $1k a month. just wanted to show that you don't need to make a lot of money or have sponsors to buid a great system i hope you like it. Brandon15zzz
I like the install very clean. The car looks pretty good to. Doesn't look all ricer'd to hell. I've always loved pre-ludes for some odd reason to. LSD_Audio
I like the install very clean. The car looks pretty good to. Doesn't look all ricer'd to hell. I've always loved pre-ludes for some odd reason to. the thing thats makes me like preludes is that fact that they're a lil more rare. you say honda, everyone thinks of Civics and CRX's. most people have never even heard of preludes. and i like that. and thank you very much Quote 92 Prelude 9.5ft^3 Wall at 33hz 2 15" Soundstream XXX 2 SSL EV5000D at 1ohm each 1 600 watt pioneer 4 chan 4 American Bass SQ 5x7 2 American Bass SQ 6.5 2 Robot Underground Gonzo 6.5 Dual XDVD8281 deck Soundstream MPQ-4US equalizer 2 Optima Yellow Tops 175 amp HO Alt Big 3 0ga all around 100% Built by me on extremely tight budget. LSD_Audio
Some pretty cool setups man. That port is crazy. thank you. crazy is what i'm shooting for haha the hardest part of building the port was figuring out how long to make each side in order to have a certain diameter. after about an hour of thinking, using all the trigonometry i learned in high school, and like ten cigarettes, i came to the conclusion that to make an octagon with a certain diameter, you take the desired diameter and divide it my 2.414. that'll give you the length each side needs to be. but at least i know that now if i ever want to build another. and this is held on by 3 bolts so i could build multiple ports and switch them out depending on what i feel like listening to. LSD_Audio
Prelude!!!! I like the setup! Quick question, what's under the hood? My buddy did a frankenstein setup H22head on h23 bottom end. other than a new H23 non-vtec (20k miles on it now), nothing. its all stock. due to the weight of the system (about 800lb), theres no sense in beefing up the engine. even fully built, i won't get much out of the car. i am however planning on doing a h22 Vtec head and some cams in the near future though. just to get i title extra umpf out of her.
