BeatBox
should be a problem as far as special car, they are meant to be "off road use only" but then alot of thing now a days are i doubt you would get a ticket for it
bass_stalker
yeah i was wondering about the legality of them, i like the fact that you can mount your own tires even though i would still need to get them balanced. but i'm thinking of just going with a simulated beadlock now Quote JEEP BUILD PROJECT ANTIBLING.2000 jeep Cherokee.HEADUNITAlpine Cda-9886SUBSTAGE1 acendent 18" audio mayhem motor with a TI basket and tantric parts1 prototype DAT hellfire 1000.1HIGHSStockELECTRICALdb link 0 gaugeKnuconceptz Kolossus 4 gauge1 xs power d3400 under hoodBig 3 upgradeold fourwheeler build The only way to delete your SMD account is for you crawl to steve meades door step on your knees and pleade for his forgiveness and acceptance to be released...He will either grant your wishes.....or choke you with a large piece of 0 gauge and electrocute you by hooking up a solid gold DC 12k at 0.000001 ohm and 10000 volts to your eye sockets and blow your head apart You guys act like you have never clogged a toilet and ran around the bathroom frantically hoping it don't overflow. sprkn_ranger
I knew a guy that ran bead locks on his Toyota 4runner, and it was his daily commuter. He said the had to put a little air in them every few days but he didn't ever have any issues with them as far as I know. SnowDrifter
You need to tighten the bead-bolts on them periodically to the proper torque spec (don't remember the interval though) Quote ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
Jdlefebure
I got a Jeep wrangler, I personally do not have beadlocks but my neighbor is all into the offroading and he has 15" beadlocks on his jeep and he drives them on the street everyday no issues. He has soft 8 cragars
armykyle1
balancing is the main issue in DD's we've run bead locks on the race car, and driven it on the street. but after two or three tightenings, you should be fine Quote TEAM XS POWERTEAM HEAVY HERTZMy build- http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/194454-e46-bmw-build-pos/#entry2914134youtube- http://www.youtube.com/user/armykyle1big build starting
