which subs or setup can take a beating???

if you find your tone deaf and can not tell when ur hurting your subs you should buy subs that can handle for more power than you have sundown ,Fi AA,DC,AQ,DD are all good choices

it would be hard to clip a 3500 or Z or lvl4 to death with 500 dirty watts but not impossible

Opposed to assuming your an idiot, or that your shop sucks, i'll five you a little advise.

Yes, those DD3512's are bad ass, can take some real power, quite a bit of clipped or distorted power too.

Have your shop set the gains and volume for you, find one that has an o-scope or a DD1 to make sure it's clean. Or maybe they can at least set them conservatively, then show you where you can put the volume for short bursts of loud vs where it can be for 2 hours at a time.

Systems are like cars. A car may be capable of 150mph......for a short time, it will die if you run it there for long......100mph all day is no problem.

So, running yours at 95% for 2 hours will kill things, get a system that give you the output you want daily running at 80%.
