Banshee421 Posted March 16, 2012 Report Posted March 16, 2012 I love the lows but was listening to one of those bass cd and I found that I like 33 Hz to 41 Hz the best is this even considered low to most. If i built ported box for my range what tune would work for me.

CleanSierra Posted March 17, 2012 Report Posted March 17, 2012 I'm tuned to 33 and love it. Itll dig low and deep and hit mid 40s all day too. What vehicle and setup are you running. Tuning is dependent on what sub you're running. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
Notoriousj76 Posted March 17, 2012 Report Posted March 17, 2012 Iv got 6 12 inch American Bass DX woofers in a big box tuned at 33... tears up mid 40s but the woofers dont like to get down in the 30s too much.. upper 20s, forget it

Being really loud tuned to 30 hz on these woofers in this car might suck balls in other cars on other woofers Cabin gain etc 1997 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab, 350 Vortec Things to come at some point... Banshee421 Posted March 17, 2012 Author Report Posted March 17, 2012 Just ordered some subs today 2 12s Skar vvx my box is 1.89 net for each tuned to 34. I'm in a extended cab tacoma so there is tons of cabain gain. I can't wait for them to get here. I can all ways lenghten the port to lower the Hz if I have to. It will be subs forward port to passanger side.
