Running speaker wire into box

I will be running 8 Ga speaker wire to my btl 15's through the back of my wall. I plan on just dilling a tight fit hole for the wire to go through direct without using bolts and then silicone it after. My question is how do you guys like to route the wires when they are inside the box? let em' dangle or pin them up or what?. and how far out past the baffle should they extend to get the woofer out? Thanks

I just drilled the holes and Siliconed the wires and they are just chillen in the box i just taped them really well and had no problems.

When I run them through the box, I just let them dangle. And I would just put some silicone around the drill hole and no air will escape.

that or bolts and nuts, either way will work fine. bolts and nuts makes it easier to deal with wires later on if you ever needed too.
