SnowDrifter
Edit: Found this helpful link - http://www.jk-forum.com/showthread.php?115758-Write-Ups-Aftermarket-Sub-Sub-Amp-Remote-Turn-on-Wire-LOC-(line-output-convertor) Vehicle is a 2010 jeep wrangler with GPS, but base model speakers. I have the stock head unit pulled out and have been checking the wires that go into it with a DMM to try and find the turn on wire. But I have only found 1 wire that is constantly on (power) and 2 more that always read 2.1vdc regardless of ignition position. skittlesRgood
could look up the harness for your car, for an aftermarket HU, and see if you can get the pinout for it. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood. Bmike
I have a simular issue with my trailblazer , The only cure for me was to run a seperate acc wire from fuse box, There are some very nice fuse plug adapters that plug right in to an exsisting fuse slot for less than 5 bucks, a little bit of wire and heat shrink did the job. hope this helps 2007 trailblazer lthead unit- pioneer p4300dvd crescendo ft-1 supertweeters pioneer m650 pros audiocontrol 2xs crossover Rockford fosgate p200-2 highsrockford fosgate p400-2 mids1- fi btl 18amps- saz 3500battery- evermax in front, 2 9a31 dekas in rearwires all knuconceptz 1/0 and rcas
SnowDrifter
Now I took off the covers and have access to the ignition and all it's wires. Any ideas on which color wire coming out of it to use? Google has been lacking information on this / my search terms aren't good enough ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
