Hi all, before I crashed my car I was working on a little project where I would use nothing but American made equipment. Now that I'm coming into a little money, I'm gonna start this again come summertime. I've succesfully found some good US Amps brand stuff, namely a USA100hc and a USX crossover. I've got two excellent 15" Image Dynamics IDSPLs that run 1200 RMS apeice. I've also got some USA made 2/0 battery cable scrounged from who knows where.

Now here's where the problem comes in. I'd really like to use an American made head unit, but I can't find a decent one. Anybody got any idea where I can find one? Also I need more wires! Any brand that makes stuff stateside?

2015 Subaru Outback. That is all, I refuse to touch it.

Nice that you found the old school US Amps gear. Their newer stuff is made in China/Korea. The original US Amps operated out of Gainesville, FL and they ended up selling their brand in the early 2000s. RE Audio owns the brand name now.

As far as an American Head Unit??? Don't think there is one.

Yep. It's either Alachua or Gainesville. I used to frequent the shop where they were engineered, all built by hand. I actually used to ride my bike there and hang out... that's where i got my car audio education before I could drive.

I can't help you find the HU, but for power wire there's always TryStar. Go to eBay and find CopperCableMan (I think that's right). He sells it for a good price. Also JSC Cable, from Parts-Express is very nice cable and wire that's made in the US.
