looking good, was nice day out for it too.

Thanks man.

Everything is back together now. I had to move the Hifonics because the back of the seat felt like it was getting soft, so, I mounted it to the box.

At this point my wife called me from the bedroom and told me I should come to bed. I was a tard and decided I wanted to finish up.

Soooooooo, in my tired stupor, I plugged my RCA's into the Hifonics output RCA terminals. Didn't realize it til I turned the car on to test it and see if everything was ok and still worked, to which the subs don't. Think I fried my HU.

IDK, I'm off the bed like I should have been an hour ago. Kind of pissed right now.

I got my wife's DEH-9400BH for about that on amazon. Fucker does everything Bluetooth, HD radio, 2 USBs in the rear, with one connected to a 500GB HDD, 3 sets of 4v outs and built in HPF/LPF. Very clean and no clip output at max vol.

EDIT: Ok so it's $165 now, still one hell of a head unit. http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-DEH-P9400BH-Mobile-Receiver-Bluetooth/dp/B006YBQ6Z2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1367184447&sr=8-1&keywords=deh-9400bh

2007 Pacifica
Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.

Interesting........

Does HD radio require anything extra installation-wise over standard?

I am half tempted to do a brand switch just for the hell of it but then again I am used to how Pioqueers operate. Been looking at these 3 locally.

Going to stop by a local shop tomorrow to see what they have available also. I hate ordering and waiting for shipping.

Nah, HD radio uses the same band as FM and am...same antenna. I get about 30 or so stations here in DFW. The pioneer does a nice job blending in the analog broadcast if the HD signal gets weak. Hard to beat this pioneer for the money.

The two places I called don't have it due to it being a previous years model and they only have the newer models. Talked to them about their new shit and they want at least $50-60 more for lower lines. They can blow it out their ass, I'm ordering that one. Looked through Pioneer's site and damn, that's supposed to be a $280 HU MSRP.

EDIT: Should be here between Friday and next Wednesday, hopefully by Saturday at least. :(
