Jeffl Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 i recently bought a rockford fosgate t0d410 sub with a .77cbft sealed box (.75) sealed recomended and im running it off a rockford fosgate prime r500-1 amp at 2 ohms. specs on amp are 525rms at 2 ohm which the sub is 2 ohm final. I have the sub in a hatchback car and i can hear the hatch rattle like crazy but can't feel the bass much at all. My friend has a 10" kicker in a .6cbft sealed box in his dodge neon and only runs 200rms to his sub and it hits twice as hard as mine. just wondering what the problem might be? just my old rattly car maybe? on a side note i had a old rockford fosgate p1 12" sub in a 1cbft box taking about 200rms and it hit about as hard my new 10. the new sub is already broken in as i have had it for about a mouth now. hoping it would just need time to break it in.

Jeffl Posted March 31, 2012 Author Report Posted March 31, 2012 not sure what kicker he has it got it about 4 years ago, i know its a 300max watt 150rms rated sub tho. his was installed by "professionals" guessing they used a oscope. mine was installed by my self and tuned with ddm/ear (i know i'll get shit for that but i dont have access to a oscope) and he has a pheonix gold 2 channel amp its a 500watt max 250 rms rated.
