ruchockey27
Alright so I took out my alpine head unit to install a PAC TR-7 and when I was reinstalling it, I forgot to hook up the ground wire. Well I turned it on using the power button and then I heard a pop. Now all my interior lights (except for the speedometer and such) are out. Please help me Im not sure what to do. Also, my remote key thing used to lock my car and unlock it doesnt work anymore. I hope its just a fuse but Im not sure. If it is a fuse which fuse would it be?? Loslam
Accessory block under hood. Or in the side panel fuse box edit: I suck at reading, check every fuse just in case you popped more than one and don't miss it 1997 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab, 350 Vortec Things to come at some point... wmrcs
Sounds like a fuse. What kind of car do you have? Check the fuse box which is generally on the left side under the dash. E34 540iT/

Quiet
Did you tap into a random hot wire to power your HU? I doubt it's an issue with an unconnected ground. If it were, your radio wouldn't turn on. Check your wiring before you go replacing the fuse. Fuses blow for a reason. 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud. (bad idea) so the ground needs to be hooked back up. check for any bare or chaffed wires behind the radio and the blown fuse will be under the hood or under/on the side of the dash. 2002 ford focus hatch pioneer DEH-P8400bh infinity kappa 6.5 components front and rear XS Power D1200 Shuriken BT-100 audioque 120.4 2 15 inch audioque HDC3 D2 2 audioque 2200d big 3 mechman 220a alt with external regulator 479-418-3056

In the owners manual for the car it will say something like radio/ dome light. 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff
